Multi-instrumentalist Brother Reggie is a Washington D.C. metro area smooth jazz, ol skool r&b and contemporary gospel recording / performing artist … guitar, keyboards & vocals. Originally from Columbus Ohio … Brother Reggie graduated with a B.A. from Cornell University in Ithaca New York … and headed for Washington D.C. area in the mid ’70’s. There … he began building home-based recording studios to work in and produce projects for the New York City and Philly record labels and dance markets. From there he expanded to productions for the U.K. market where his music was well received. All vocals and instruments are sung and played by this Brother Reggie. All projects are recorded in Back-Door Recording Studio … a ProTools studio built by the artist and located in the basement of his Stafford Virginia home. Brother Reggie has been an opening act and / or has performed with Nick Colionne, Steve Oliver, Joyce Cooling, Jeffrey Osborne, Angela Winbush and many others.

Brother Reggie is a keyboardist, guitarist, and vocalist, that specializes in smooth jazz, R & B, and contemporary gospel. He graduated from Cornell University in 1977, then went to Washington D.C. where he joined the music scene. Brother Reggie became a session player, playing the keyboard, guitar, bass, and vocals, both in D.C. and New York City. In the late 1970s, Brother Reggie began producing songs for New York indie labels, including Prelude Records, Profile, and VanGuard. He was a supporting string and brass arranger for world-renowned H.B. Barnum for Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles concert material at the DAR Constitution Hall in Washington D.C. In the late 1980s, Brother Reggie became an artist on NYC indie label DJ Records. He then became the owner of Back-Door Recording Studio for artists with big dreams on a small budget! Brother Reggie then became the owner of NO-SWEAT Productions, producing song arrangements, originals, and covers, to suit! NO-SWEAT Records is an indie record label providing distribution, marketing, and management of artists signed to the label.
In the early 2000s, Brother Reggie was the opening act for smooth jazz artists Steve Oliver, Nick Colionne, Joyce Cooling, and others. He graced the stage and shared the mic with Jeffrey Osborne (You Should Be Mine aka The Woo-Woo Song,) and Angela Winbush. Currently, Brother Reggie is performing as a solo act in and around the Washington D.C. metro area.
